Tests: Ramnaresh Sarwan scores his fifteenth century and is the leading run scorer in 2009. Denesh Ramdin and Sulieman Benn set a new eighth wicket partnership record at the Riverside Ground. Alistair Cook scores his ninth century and averages 50.0 playing at home. Ravinda Bopara scores his third consecutive century, and is averaging 118.3 against the West Indies. Graham Onions becomes the forty seventh England player to take five wickets or more in an innings on debut. Fidel Edwards takes six wickets in an innings and is averaging 44.4 away from home. Alistair Cook and Ravinda Bopara set a new second wicket partnership record at the Riverside Ground. Ravinda Bopara scores his second century and is averaging 123.5 against the West Indies. Ross Taylor scores his fourth century and averages 49.7 at home and 30.4 away.
