    Tests: Ricky Ponting nears 12,000 runs, while Jacques Kallis nears 11,000 runs. Graeme Smith nears 7,000 runs while Kevin Pietersen nears 5,000 runs. Muttiah Muralitharan nears 800 wickets, while Dale Steyn nears 200 wickets. Umar Gul and Lasith Malinga near 100 wickets. Daniel Vettori near 100 Tests. Mark Boucher nears 500 dismissals, while Rahul Dravid nears 200 catches. Zaheer Khan nears the 1,000 runs/200 wickets milestone.
    ODI's: Ricky Ponting nears 13,000 runs, while Ramnaresh Sarwan nears 5,000 runs. Aftab Ahmed, Shahriar Nafees, Daniel Vettori, and Owais Shah, near 2,000 runs. Stephen Tikolo, Stuart Broad, Lasith Malinga, Shakib Al Hasan, and Jerome Taylor near 100 wickets. Shahid Afridi nears 100 catches. Brendon McCullum nears 200 dismissals milestone. Jacques Kallis and Shahid Afridi near the 300 matches, while Ashish Nehra, Andrew Strauss, Kevin Pietersen, and Dwayne Bravo near 100 matches. Mahela Jaywardene nears 300 innings. Shakib Al Hasan nears the 1,000 runs/100 wickets milestone.

    Tests: Shakib Al Hasan scores his maiden century and averages 88.7 in the fourth innings. Harbhajan Singh takes five wickets in an innings for the twenty fourth time and is the leading wicket taker at Eden Gardens. Hasim Amla becomes the fifth South African player to score a century in each innings. Vangipurappu Laxman scores his fifteenth century, and has the highest run aggregate and second highest average at Eden Gardens. Mahendra Dhoni records the third highest score by an Indian wicket keeper, and is averaging 219 at Eden Gardens. Vangipurappu Laxman and Mahendra Dhoni set new seventh wicket partnership records for India and Eden Gardens. Martin Guptill scores his maiden century and records the third highest score in the 2010 calendar year. Brendon McCullum records the highest score by a New Zealand wicket keeper, and the highest score at Number seven for New Zealand.
    ODI's: Darren Sammy takes four wickets in a match for the first time. Bradley Haddin becomes the third Australian wicket keeper to score a century. Ricky Ponting and Bradley Haddin set a new 2nd wicket partnership record for Seddon Park. Mitchell Johnson takes four wickets in an match for the sixth time, while Nikita Miller takes four wickets in a match for the first time. Craig Kieswetter scores his maiden century, while Timothy Bresnan takes four wickets in a match for the first time. Darryl Tuffey becomes the fourteenth New Zealand player to take 100 wickets.
